Peter's career spans four decades of building, managing, and advising businesses across property development, private equity, and early-stage ventures. He has completed projects exceeding $300 million in today's dollars and has operated across Australian and international markets since 1986.
In 2016 he founded C2 Capital in Melbourne, a private equity firm focused on property development and early-stage venture investment. By late 2019 C2 had developed a property and venture pipeline with a gross realisable value exceeding $1 billion across seven projects.
Melbourne's unprecedented 270 cumulative days of government-mandated COVID-19 lockdowns, the longest of any major city globally, severely disrupted the Victorian property and venture sector. Peter formally resigned all executive directorships at C2 Capital on 1st March 2021, fifteen months before the rebranded entity entered voluntary administration under new management.
At no point was Peter Terrill a director of REMI Capital. C2 Capital was rebranded as REMI Capital by new management after his resignation, prior to that entity entering voluntary administration.
Following his resignation from C2 Capital, Peter served as Managing Partner at Zash Ventures, an early-stage venture studio focused on business incubation and operational advisory, before moving into independent research and advisory work through the remainder of the Covid recovery period. In November 2025 he founded V1 Scale, bringing four decades of operational experience to Australia's fastest-growing regional economy from his base on the Gold Coast.
PE Capital · Melbourne. Co-founded a property development management platform that built a pipeline of commercial projects. Peter negotiated a successful exit, which funded the launch of C2 Capital.
